The Ditch

A horror visual novel created for the Scream Dunk game jam.

Unfortuantely we were unable to complete the art assets during the game jam, so what we have now are just sketch placeholders for the character art and 3 of the needed backgrounds.

Story

The countryside town you grow up in can hide some terrible dangers. It's the year 1999, and a friendly kickabout between four children takes a chilling turn out of seemingly nowhere.

Unprepared for an emergency like this, the girls struggle to fix it and make the situation worse and worse, until the results become fatal for one unlucky child.

A horror about the mundane dangers of childhood and just how easily it can come to an abrupt end. Set in the Fenlands of England, where the towns are small and the ditches are deep.
